The holiday season is upon us. Can you believe it? It kind of just happened, suddenly, without warning. But we’re prepared. I’ve started drinking Eggnog exclusively, and we’ve been playing Wham!’s “Last Christmas” morning, noon and night. That should keep the Spirit of Christmas happy, for now.
A lot has happened since the last post, as per usual. At the beginning of November, we were at Nova Scotia Music Week in Truro. That was a great time – full of music, friends, and continental breakfast. We played a showcase for a great crowd at 1:30am the night of our arrival – here’s a review of how it went down, courtesy of Exclaim:

This month we have a lot of stuff in the works – we’re going to shoot a video for “All Debit No Credit” with our friend Daniel Collins, and do some recording with Charles Austin at Echo Chamber, in preparation for our record.
This Thursday we’re going to perform some home-style holiday chestnuts as part of Radio 96.5’s Christmas Kitchen Party at Casino Nova Scotia. They’re taping the performance and Radio 96.5 will air it on Christmas Day, so be sure to tune in!
We hope you have a wonderful holiday and if you wish to stay up to date with all things Brood, feel free to check in on our facebook and twitter.
Happy Holidays from The Brood
